Mavim Manager
The properties of a Mavim database in the Database Manager are now extended with information about the last Manager version used to open the database and if the database must be converted when opening. If the selected Mavim database must be converted, the color shown in the screenshot below will be shown.
The option to publish to .chm helpfile has been removed.
The maximum length of a topic code is now enlarged to 38 characters. This way we can now support a value like a GUID: {F9168C5E-CEB2-4faa-B6BF-329BF39FA1E4}.
Due to the deprecation of Access and Oracle databases, it is not possible to open these Mavim Databases anymore. Please contact the Mavim helpdesk if you need support on how to convert these deprecated Mavim Database formats
Portal
Portal users can mark topics as favorite to navigate back to them quickly from their dashboard and subscribe to topics to follow feedback. When versions in which users have marked any favorites or subscriptions are deleted, the favorites and subscriptions are deleted as well. This can be a dissatisfier to your end users.
We have listened to many of you and in this release, we introduced a mechanism that will roll over any favorites and subscriptions to the newest version upon deleting it. This will happen in the background; all you need to do is make sure you have a new version published before deleting the old version.
Also, we have built a tool for you as Administrator to have insight in the contents of your versions, including the number of favorites and subscriptions. Simply click on Details behind any version in the overview in Portal Administration/Versions to get the following
Visual Modelling and Visio
Multimonitor support was added for Mavim Manager and Visio. Visio can be placed on the second screen and will reopen on the same screen the next time.
Mavim Process Mining
Updated the MPM license mechanism on the back end to start supporting the integration to Mavim Connect Center.
