Fixes Update November 2020

In this version, we've fixed the following issues: 

Manager

  • When a user was logged in more than once, the function to publish to the Portal stopped and showed the following error: "Cannot create a new publication. Multiple users are logged in as ... " this is now changed to a warning message: "Multiple users are active in the database. Do you want to publish?". This gives the option to continue the publication. Why users are not logged out correctly is under investigation.
  • When a BPMN Collaboration with call activities was couple copied, opening the couple copied drawing, showed the text "Go To command without Destination" at the call activities, this has now been resolved.
  • In some cases, it was difficult to enter new address, for example when coupling a topic with Internet Address. This has now been resolved.
  • When using Field Administration screen, selecting the context menu option to set the default value back to default, was not available on the value cell but only on the name cell. This has now been resolved.

Reports

  • When configuring a report, the i-Navigator Field Sets can now be shown on related topics.
  • The option Show Topic Icons did not work correctly, this has now been resolved. Topic icons can now be hidden again.
  • When configuring a report, the topic key value is now available on the topic at the end of the relation and the related topic. This is helpful when building Power BI reports.

Portal

  • Flows are now automatically copied to the new version, but it can take a couple minutes before the result is visible. The activation of the flow still requires the manual step for activation.
  • In some cases, the error: "System.OutOfMemoryException" was shown when publishing to the Portal. We have now optimized the memory usage when publishing to the Portal.
  • For the Dutch language, the text synchronize users is now correctly spelled.
  • The sequence of the publications can now be changed, the order can be "most recent publication on top" or "most recent publication at bottom".
  • The search function in the Portal has now been improved. The following improvements have been made:

    • Better ordering of the search results.

    The AND operator is now the default when using multiple keywords separated by spaces.

    The option Descriptions now also searches in the fields.

    The search results are now limited to 100 results.

    It is now possible to change authentication provider and synchronizing existing user data to the new accounts. When you think this is necessary, please create a ticket at the support desk.

Visio

  • Call was visible when selecting characteristic in a Flowchart. This has now been resolved.
  • ArchiMate: Copying a view topic in Mavim Manager creates shapes in Visio with 'new' style and was persistent after save. This has been resolved.
  • ArchiMate: When using selective editing, the last loaded page was visible while the chart was being loaded in Visio.
  • BPMN Collaborations: When dropping a pool, the width could have been incorrect. The width is now configured correctly.
  • In some circumstances in Flowcharts and Cross Functional Flowcharts, the context menu of a shape showed that the shape was an Activity regardless of the type of shape used. This has now been resolved.
  • Charts with connected external data did not publish correctly.

Quality improvement is standard part of our product life cycle and will create an even better working experience every release.
