Fixed April 2022

In this version, we've fixed the following issues:

Mavim Manager

  • In a specific situation, browsing through the database resulted in an error "System.NullReferenceException". We have made improvements in the check (and repair) database function and when the situation reoccurs, we will now show a message that checking the database will automatically repair the issue.
  • In some cases, the matrix showed topics that were inside the recycle bin. This has now been resolved.
  • When a report was opened, a new report could be opened which resulted in an error message "System.NullReferenceException". This has now been resolved.
  • The option Customize the Ribbon in the ribbon has been removed as this falsely gave the impression that customizations were possible and supported.
  • When installing Mavim Manager manually, an error message could be shown: "The installation of Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package (x64) appears to have failed". This has now been resolved.
  • Importing a Mavim for Authors document failed and showed: "Error while importing the document". This has now been resolved.

Mavim Connect Center

  • When selecting from multiple instances on the menu bar in the top right in the MCC, a scroll bar is enabled to scroll through with ease.
  • In the Mavim Manager tab, the database counter issue was fixed, and now the accurate number of databases is listed.

Visual Modelling and Visio

  • When publishing Generic Charts to the Mavim Portal, shape texts near the boundary of the shape were omitted from the publication.
  • For Cross Functional Charts, unassigned lanes would appear empty in the chart, and it was not possible to remove them from the drawing.
  • In BPMN Collaborations, after a shape was shown in only one lane and morphed to another BPMN role, the related linked shapes appeared detached from the shape.
  • When creating a new chart from the context menu of the relationships screen and selecting an ArchiMate 3.1 chart, an ArchiMate 2.1 chart was incorrectly created instead.

Mavim Process Mining

  • Fixed the saving mechanism of the secrets for Mavim Process Mining, such that old secrets are updated and overwritten with new secrets, such that reports can be opened without any problem and with a valid secret.
