PRODUCT UPDATE
February 2023

What is fixed?

In this version, we've fixed the following issues:

Mavim Manager

  • Copy-Paste within Mavim Manager:
    •    of text between topics in "description", an extra line at the end of the text was pasted in some cases. This is no longer the case.
    •    of text with special characters to topic name sometimes resulted in a symbol instead of the actual special character. This is now fixed.
  • When publishing to Word, the Field Relations were not shown in the relations table. This has now been resolved.
  • In certain scenarios opening the Icons Configuration Screen showed the error message: "System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object". This has now been resolved.
  • When creating a version with a custom icon included in the version definition, all topics having the custom icon (relation) were added to the external references, this has now been resolved.

Mavim iMprove

  • We have fixed a bug where the topic title was not rendering in the navigation sidebar.
  • We have fixed a bug where a long topic title was not correctly rendering on the topic page.
  • We have fixed a bug where a long topic title was not correctly rendering in a relation-list, list, and relationship field.
  • We have fixed a bug where in certain scenarios the scrollbar in the tree was not visible.

Visual Modelling & Visio

  • A long-standing bug which caused connectors to change from right-angled to straight when shapes were dropped or moved in Cross Function Flowcharts and BPMN Collaborations, has been fixed by Microsoft. This new version of Visio is now becoming available in our online environment.
  • A context menu to export as a Visio drawing and other formats, was missing when working with BPMN models, Orchestrations and Collaborations.
  • Due to several bugs reported consisting of ArchiMate relationships that were missing when opening a model, two changes have been implemented:
o    When replacing a catalog item of a shape the previous links are no longer re-used.
o    Replacing the underlying topic of a catalog item is no longer possible.
