Fixes Update October 2020
In this version, we've fixed the following issues:
Manager
- When creating a version, the question to remove revision information or not, was not asked. This has now been resolved.
- In a specific situation, an error was shown when a topic type was changed. This has now been resolved.
- In a specific situation, the batch publication published an extra version which was not visible in the list. This has now been resolved.
- Support for Visio 2010 has now been discontinued.
- On the Layout tab, history and overview switched positions.
- Based on a finding in from a recent security assessment, the xml-based imports are now protected for recursive expansion and ignore internal dtd's.
- When opening a chart in a version, a progress indicator is now shown.
- In the Version definition screen, the Filter settings can now include a field of the type Yes/No.
- In a Version, the custom icon topic in the External References now includes an open original context menu item.
- The description screen options, now include a setting to set the default paragraph settings for new descriptions.
- The Database Manager now includes a new column "Last access" to show when a database was opened.
Reports
- In the Report definition, the list of available topic types is now expanded.
- In the Report definition, it is now possible to hide couple copied topics and relations. Find these options in the advanced options of the report definition.
Visio
- Several issues in the Check Consistency form related to ArchiMate relationships were fixed.
- BPMN lane heights were readjusted to the content of the lane even when no changes were made in the database and the chart was reopened. This has been fixed.
- When the relationship between a Pool and a Participant was changed or removed in Mavim Manager, the corresponding Collaborations that represented this relationship were not correctly updated. This has been fixed.
- When re-opening a stand-alone BPMN chart, the full model BPMN stencils were displayed. This has been fixed.
- In some cases, the text control points could have been disconnected in drawings created in previous versions. These drawings were repaired.
- The lists of related Topics in a Hierarchical Charts were not updated when the corresponding relationship was removed in Mavim Manager.
- When font attributes on a Lane header were changed by the user, these attributes were reset to different values when saving the Cross Function Flowchart. This has been fixed.
Portal
- A publication including a Flowchart with a decision shape, done from the yellow cabinet, showed Whereto/Wherefrom relations while these were disabled in the web theme. This has now been resolved.
- When a file was connected to a topic using the SharePoint Connection Manager, this file opened in the same browser tab instead of a new browser tab. This has now been resolved.
- The url set on the Home button, always opened as maximized page, this has now been resolved.
- When a version is set offline or is removed, subscriptions to topics in the version now open the latest version.
- When removing a user, improved feedback is shown when a user cannot be removed.
- It is now possible to print description, fields, relations, or charts even when "Generate data for printing from website" was disabled when publishing. The best result is reached when printing from Chrome or Edge (based on Chromium).
- In a specific case it was not possible to delete a user. This has now been resolved.
- The navigation from a Call Activity to the Called Topic and its description, has now been improved.
Quality improvement is standard part of our product life cycle and will create an even better working experience every release.
