March 2025 | Version 10.47

New

  • We are excited to introduce Approval Flow! With this new feature, changes to topic descriptions and fields can be made, but they must be approved before appearing in the Yellow Cabinet for other users.

Admins can enable and configure Approval Flow in the settings. They can decide which topics require approval and manage who is responsible for reviewing changes.

When a topic is under Approval Flow, edits are saved as a draft until they receive approval. This ensures that only reviewed and validated content is visible to your
    organization.

This is just the beginning! We’re actively working on expanding Approval Flow with more features and refinements in the coming weeks. Stay tuned!
An impression of the approval flow is given in a few images. In the image below, admins can configure approval flow for their organization and assign approvers.
  • In the image below, an editor can make changes to fields and then has the option to save the changes as concept or immediately request for an approval of the changes.
  • In the next image, an assigned approver, can now review the changes and either approve or reject the changes.
  • You can now set permissions on the purple cabinet, just like the green cabinet. This allows you to control who can view its content or choose to hide the purple cabinet entirely. Navigate to the User management section and create or edit a role to use this permission option.

Improved

  • We have enhanced the Personal Settings page to remember your preferred data and application language. Your selection is now saved, so even after restarting your browser, your chosen language settings will remain in place. No need to set them every time—just pick your preference and continue working seamlessly!

To improve transparency, we no longer hide buttons based on your access/permission level. Instead, all buttons remain visible, and if a button is disabled, a tooltip will now explain why. This helps you understand permission requirements at a glance!

When editing fields across multiple topics, the tree now stays open instead of collapsing after each edit. This makes it easier to navigate between topics and quickly update fields without losing your place! In the image below you can see that the tree remains visible, while still being able to edit fields.

Fixed

  • Edit buttons were mistakenly visible in some areas of the green cabinet, even though created versions are static and cannot be edited. We've now corrected this, ensuring these buttons no longer appear where editing isn’t possible.

February 2025 | Version 10.46

New

  • New Feature: Create Visio Charts in Mavim iMprove!

We’re excited to introduce a powerful new feature in Mavim iMprove: the ability to create Visio charts directly within the platform!

What’s New?

Users with a Mavim iMprove Enterprise license can now create new Visio charts from within the hierarchical tree structure. A new option has been added, allowing you to build and visualize your processes more efficiently.

How It Works:

  • > Navigate to the tree structure in Mavim iMprove.
  • > Click the new "Create Visio Chart" option.
  • > Start designing your process directly within Mavim iMprove.

This update streamlines process modeling, making it even easier to structure, edit, and manage your Visio diagrams.

Stay tuned for more enhancements, and as always, we appreciate your feedback!

December 2024 | Version 10.45

New

  • With the introduction of license management through the Mavim Connect Center (MCC), all Mavim iMprove users will require either a Professional or Enterprise license assigned via the MCC. If you have any questions about assigning licenses, please contact your administrator or our support team.

  • Users with an Enterprise license and editing permissions for a topic will now see the edit button for charts. For Professional license holders, the button is disabled with a tooltip prompting an upgrade to an Enterprise license to access the Visio Edit functionality.

Fixed

  • We have corrected the Dutch translation for boolean fields. They will now correctly display as ja/nee, ensuring a more accurate and consistent experience for our Dutch-speaking users.

  • We have fixed an issue affecting the loading of the tree on the global settings page for admins. This ensures a smoother and more reliable experience when managing global settings.

  • We have resolved several issues to enhance your experience. Users without permission to view certain topics will now see the sidebar displaying correctly. Additionally, admins can once again see all topics.

October 2024 | Version 10.43

Improved

  • We have made a small yet impactful update to the Role section in User Management. Topics that have been deleted or moved to the recycle bin will now be displayed in red. Additionally, hovering over these topics will show a tooltip explaining the reason for their status.
  • We have enhanced the Role Edit page to help you manage permissions more effectively. Topics that have been moved to the recycle bin or deleted are now displayed in red, making them easy to identify. Additionally, you can safely remove deleted topics from the list of permissions, ensuring a cleaner and more accurate role management experience.
  • We have addressed an issue with the improper alignment of radio buttons in the Topic Permissions section of User Management. Radio buttons are now properly aligned, improving the visual consistency and making it easier to manage permissions.
  • In the System Groups section of User Management, we’ve made it clearer that users assigned as admins in the Mavim Connect Center (MCC) have full permissions, including the ability to edit topics. This update ensures a better understanding of admin roles and their comprehensive access rights within the system.

Fixed

  • We have fixed an issue where the edit icon appeared for created versions, even though editing is not allowed. The edit icon will no longer be visible for created versions, ensuring a more accurate representation of available actions.

  • We have fixed a few spelling mistakes across the platform to improve clarity (in the Dutch application language only).
  • We have resolved an issue where fieldsets or topic permissions with the same name allowed users to select multiple radio buttons (Hidden, View, Read, Edit) simultaneously in the User Management section.

August 2024 | Version 10.42

New

  • We are excited to introduce a new feature that enhances the user experience with iMprove. Users can now double-click on a topic in the tree to quickly expand or collapse it. This intuitive feature makes it easier to navigate through topics and manage content efficiently.

Double click on any topic (for example the highlighted Procure to Pay topic) in the tree to collapse/expand the topic node.

Improved

  • Our latest update brings a significant improvement in how charts are shown in topic page. With this change, you will experience a more organized display of charts, which are now conveniently placed inside tabs.
  • The Word edit button has been moved inside the Description accordion for improved accessibility and user experience. A reload icon has been placed near the Word edit button. This allows users to easily refresh and see the updated changes immediately after editing.
  • We’ve updated the appearance of the navigation bar on the left side of the screen to match the look and feel of the rest of the application. The functionality, including navigating to the previous topic, remains unchanged.
  • We're excited to share that we've improved the process of deleting permissions under User Management: Roles in Mavim iMprove. This enhancement makes the experience smoother and more efficient, allowing you to manage roles with greater ease.
  • Administrators now can choose the scope of the version when adding external content. The four options are:

    1.  Include all: any occurrence (yellow and green cabinet) of the topic will have the external content embedded
    2.  Yellow: only the occurrence in the yellow cabinet will have the external content embedded. Useful when configuring embedded content per topic type.
    3.  Versions: occurrence of the topic in any created version will have the embedded content
    4.  Specific version: only the topic in the specified version will have the embedded content

Fixed

  • We have resolved a problem where users couldn’t set a new homepage if the current one was deleted. Now, you can easily choose a new homepage without any issues. Thank you for your patience while we fixed this!
